1 Malaysia Book Vouchers

Like every public or private university/college student out there, I was given the 1Malaysia Book Voucher which came in 4 pieces of RM50 and...*whip out calculator....4x50 = 200* total up to RM200. I kid. I'm not that bad in Mathematics, I got like C in high school, psshh...piece of cake. That aside, this means I have RM 200 to go spend or go berserk/totally crazy in major bookstores like MPH, Popular or Border!!

And so that's exactly what I did. What novel nerds wouldn't??

What's left of the vouchers after I've been to Popular for one and a half hour.

Honestly, I would always complain that I have not enough money to buy books to read and stuff, but now that I've got RM200 to spend, it all comes back to the same question, what should I buy? Spend alot more time thinking what to buy than I ever did before, well for books anyway. So yeah, that's the question what should I buy? Books? Stationaries? Computer stuff like most people plan to buy when they got the vouchers? Miscellaneous-stuff-that-I-wouldn't-use-but-looks-cute-and-can't-resist-to-buy-crap? Since this vouchers purposes was to buy books, books it is.

So anyway, I decided to give RM50 to my beloved sister to spend and buy whatever she wants cause I'm such a good little sister. ROFL. Who am I kidding, there's string attached to this generosity of course and besides there's three other reason as well, (a) She's driving the car and I depend on her to bring me home (b) I don't have any idea what to buy and (c) Sharing is caring. lol

We went to 2 different bookstores. MPH and Popular cause those are 2 of the major bookstores in Kuching. I'll go even more crazy if I was in KL cause the bookstores there are huge and had a lot more new books compared to the bookstores here. But since the vouchers has expiry date which is March 31 and I'm nowhere near KL in that period of time, MPH and Popular it is. *sigh* KL has everything, don't get me wrong, I love Kuching of course, I'm born and bred here.

Free Popular membership card.

You can get the Popular membership card for free if you spend RM 150 at Popular bookstore(duh). The card itself worth RM 12 and holder of this card have 10% discount for everything in the store and it last for a year. I believe MPH promotion was for every RM100 voucher spent, you will be issued a RM5 voucher and Borders was for every RM 100 spend, there would be a free Starbucks beverage.

Obviously the best deal was either Popular or Borders. Popular card by itself already worth RM12 plus the amount of discount you can get all year round who add up to RM 20 at least just for stationaries. Borders on the other hand, Starbucks beverage itself worth at least RM 12, minimum plus tax. That's is if you get the small size, I'm sure there's condition attached to what size of drink you can get for free. But still, these two deals are way more better than MPH deals.

So being the smart spender or in other word auntie I am, I decided to spend RM150 in Popular just to get the free membership card and the rest in MPH. Best of both world, win-win situation.

Anybody out there still haven't spend his/her vouchers, go spend it now!

Sabah 2011 : Island Trip

In continuation of the Sabah's Trip post, here's the post about my trip to the islands there. Most probably this post will not have much writings, just photos,cause pictures can do a better job in explaining than I can.

We decided to went for an island trip since the weather during that day was nice and warm without any hints or sign that it's gonna rain. Most probably gonna rain in the afternoon anyway, so why not? We're in Sabah already and Sabah is famous for their beautiful serene beaches.

Woke up at 7.30 in the morning and getting ready for the island trip. Excited!

The hotel corridor, pretty creepy, feels like in a dungeon. But the hotel was pretty good.

The breakfast served don't really have alot of choice, the same old thing, porridge with condiments,fried noodle, boiled eggs sometimes, fried rice, bread, juice, coffee, tea and etc.

After the breakfast we went to Jesselton Point which is a ferry terminal in Kota Kinabalu for a boatride to the islands.

I recommend this company. Cool logo and good service.

By the way, you can actually haggled down the price that was quoted by the people there. We actually haggled down the price from RM 35 to RM27 per person. I found out later that one of my sister friend's managed to get RM 25 per person. So, try to haggle for the fun of it but remember not to haggled to low, who knows what they might do right, drive the boat in a way that would make you vomit or forgot to pick you up intentionally?

Besides that, you would also have to pay the tickets or something for the visit to the island. Adult is RM 6 each while Child id RM 3 if I'm not mistaken. Student price would be RM 3. Remember to bring student card/college card or whatever. lol

It took approximately 10-15 minutes to get to the first and the most famous island, Pulau Sapi. Famous place for snorkeling and for the Komodo Dragons that roam around the island freely. I'm not planning on snorkeling hence I'm not going to Sapi Island.

Manukan Island has got the best views in my opinion. Lots of colourful fish can be seen from the jetty and it has the best facilities as well as lots of watersport to try. By the way, the islands that we're going are actually Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park which consists of a clusters of 5 islands. These islands are Manukan, Mamutik, Sapi, Sulug and Gaya.

Sea urchins. Lots and lots of them.

So, be careful while snorkeling or swimming in any of these islands as there's a lot of sea urchins lying around. Imagine stepping on one of these, OUCH. That's not the worst part, the worst part would be you need somebody to pee on wherever part of your body that have been sting by the sea urchin. If you have no idea why there would be peeing on body mentioned here, Google it. rofl. I have no idea if it works but apparently it helps in reducing the pain cause by the sting. I bet it does...warm pees~~ : )

I would love to try this someday, it's a thing that you sit on and it went underwater, kinda like cycling underwater instead of swimming.

The next island we went to is Mamutik Island. It's smaller than Manukan. Not much to do here and if you wants to be alone here would be nice as there's not as much people here compare to the other islands.

That dark looking thing there is like a big bunch of small fishes. Occasionally, there would be a big long body fish which I believe is a Barracuda speeding through this small fishes. Easy lunch. lol

After an hour there, we decided to go back to Kota Kinabalu, next time when I come back I must go snorkel! MUST I SAY!

Jesselton Point

At night we went to Welcome Restaurant to have a dinner with my uncle before we fly back to Kuching and lots of people tell us that this is one of the best restaurant in town as the food is fresh and the best part is the price, it's reasonable I guess. When we first reach there the first thing that caught my eyes was the aquarium where the kept all the live seafood, I LOVE IT! It's definitely better than looking at dead fish on ice.

The restaurant was packed with people. Which usually indicates one thing, good food good price. :)

Stir fried Baby Kailan with Garlic. Yums, simple but awesome.

The rest of the food I forgot to take pictures as I was too busy eating as usual.rofl All and all the food was not that great but the price was reasonable enough. It was a pretty good trip, great island trip plus a good seafood, what can get better than that? That's it! See ya next time! :)

I know I know, this is a very long overdue post but I'm gonna post it up here anyway just cause I want to. I'm not the one who always follow the trend and post up things on time, psshh, I'm way cooler than that.... :S.

Okay la, I'm a procrastinator, happy?? I'm man enough to admit it, man as in huMAN of course, not male balls MAN. :)

Here goes,

#1 The day we got new addition to our family, Hana and Katie.

They've grown up to be a pretty big ass dogs now but I prefer to put pic when they were still a little ball of fur, way cuter. The story was, I actually wanted to adopt a puppy I saw at SSPCA, the little ones who could climb the cage and all, pretty unique and super cute, confirm grow up to be a smart dog but my mom doesn't allowed me to adopt it. She was like NO NO NO and guess what NO!

So what to do, got my answers already. I wonder what happen to that puppy, hope he/she got adopted by a good family. Back to the story, guess what, the next day she went to Sundaymarket and got herself TWO puppies! apa....what Queen wants Queen gets. And treat these 2 better than me...uh..I'll stop here. rofl

The best birthday is not about big parties and presents and alcohol, it's all about hanging out with good friends and have good conversations. 2 of the went to overseas for studies already. :(

Two weeks after Jody's death, got another news from my mom that my other dog Sam which was one of the offsprings from Jody is in the veterinary and diagnosed with kidney failure and die the next morning. It's terrible but I can't do anything as I'm not even in Kuching when I got the news.

Love it. One of the best countdown I've ever been to.

But on the other hand had a lame New Year countdown at Boulevard, I swear I'll never go to Boulevard for countdown ever again. Super lousy fireworks that lasted for 5 minutes only, what a disappointment. Plus the crowd there..no comment.

Joey Bit Me

He bit me this morning when I tried to bring him in the house after playing in the porch for awhile. So sad. How can something as cute as him can behave like a demon sometimes.

Well, he's been aggressive since he was small, he's a terrier mix after all and male terrier tend to be more aggressive, it's in their genes I guess but this is the first time he ever like bit me like for real. Before this it was just growling and stuff. Yikes. :S

Luckily he didn't have much teeth left. (He's had surgery to removed some of his bad teeth like 2 years ago.) Kinda hurts though.

How did it feels when he bit me? It kinda feels like I'm a mother that has just been slapped by one of her child. Unexpected feeling, cause he never really been THAT aggressive to me before (well at least not to me, his primary victim used to be my sis,rofl)

His bite is more to internal as in bruising than external, kung fu I tell you.

No idea why he was so pissed off, maybe he wants more playtime, maybe he doesn't like the way I ask him to come in.....maybe he's pissed off at me for getting all his hair sheared off. He's one crazy dog.

Oh well. S*** Happens. Even dog has his bad day.

But if he does this to me again I'm gonna go medieval on his ass, I got like swords, those spiky ball thingy that like swings around and cool looking and stuff, bows and arrows.....Just kidding, I love him!! ;D

Tweet Up Kuching!

So, a tweet up is an event where two or more twitters gather and meet each other. Cool right? If you're a fan of twitter, you have to go to this event!

The aim of this event is :-

1) To be the first Tweet Up (Twtup) in Sarawak which can be said to be the Kuching version of to the record breaking OctTwtFest

2 ) To gather tweeps regardless of their location to attend this TwtUp

3 )To enhance and foster unity and friendship among tweeps. (Very important this one. :D)

4 ) To encourage positive use of social media, in this case especially Twitter

Sabah Trip 2011 Day 1 & 2 : Gaya Street, Fook Yuen and Sabah's Waterfront

So, on the 27th of last month, I went to Sabah for a little holiday trip as well as to attend my sister's convocation. Booked an early flight as I wanted to check out Gaya Street and see how much thing's have changed since the last time I visited Sabah which was like 4 years ago, when my family went to Sabah the first time to send my sister off to her university.

4 years....time goes by so fast.

Reached the airport at around 5.45am to catch the 6.10am flight. Surprisingly there's alot of people in the early flights, I thought there would be less, I was wrong. lol

Reached Kota Kinabalu at around 7.35am, YAY!! Check out those white things in the oceans, I think those are corals. Just guessing. :)

One of the resort in KK, Sutera Harbour I think. No wait, I'm pretty sure.

Reach KK and my dad rented a car so it's easier to get around KK, got a Viva and its pretty cheap, RM 100 per day, that car totally is a fuel saving car as we only spend like RM 60- 80 for fuels enough for us to spin around KK for 4 days. When you do the calculation, renting car are probably cheaper than using taxis. Convenient too.

So, I'm the navigator of the day :S...We got lost for a little bit cause we drove to the wrong direction and headed to Lok Kawi instead of heading in the direction of the city. (not my fault! I blame the map the car renter guy drew for us! lol) So yeah, we got to 1Borneo like 45 minutes late....you say lost, I say sightseeing. :)

Here's the map. No left no right, pretty confusing? I agree, it was nice of him to draw a map for us though.

But it's all good,relax bah.....eventually we found our direction back to KK city and went straight to 1Borneo to get to our hotel and pick up my sis and her friend and went to Gaya Street Weekend Market.

Stop by at Fook Yuen Cafe near Gaya Street for breakfast.

And the famous Fook Yuen's Teh C Peng. Ordered 4 of these.Honestly, it's good but not as good as the one we have in Kuching. Honesty is the best policy right?? Peace peace.

So turns out eating in KK is like quite expensive, all those stuff above cost us like RM 35. Yikes.

Next stop, Gaya Street Market.

The beginning of the market, it goes like 3- 4 blocks. Crowded.

So, I didn't take much picture while I was there , too many people, plus it's very hot so I was kinda lazy to take pictures of anything. Basically you can find souvenirs, plants, pets, sea shells, and etc there. Got myself a pretty cool sunnies there. Haggled down from RM25 to RM 18 but I found out later that it was still overpriced. Dang it.

Went back to hotel to check in. Courtyard Hotel located near 1Borneo. Too many people checking in (convo season ma) and we have to wait for 1 hour plus because our room wasn't ready yet.

Raining pretty heavily almost every afternoon in KK.

Pretty sweet room, definitely spacious.

There's a cool sofa, awesome.

Walk around in 1Borneo after checkin in. That pretty much sums up our first day in Sabah.

Day 2

Went to Suria Sabah, smaller than 1Borneo, we just went there for the Padini sales, not much different. rofl

The food court was cool though, overlooking the ocean and you can like see Jesselton Point and some of the island from here.

Jumbo watermelon juice + milk.

This is one drinks that I'll safely say I will never ever order again. It's not the taste but the texture, it's like they blend the watermelon plus the skins and not even have the sense to sift it before pouring it in the glass. So imagine drinking that, we have to like fish out the fibers and seeds and skins from time to time. Ugh, annoying. RM 7.

After that, we went to the original Foo Yuen restaurant which was located in Damai.

It was like 2pm in the noon and the 'kopitiam' was still crowded, KK people love their Fook Yuen

cafe.... :)

Their famous 'roti kahwin' which basically means 'married bread'. Marriage between the butter and 'kaya' which is a kind of sweet awesome jam! I like it, one of the best I've had.

Hokkien Mee...I don't know why it's so watery but it still taste good anyway. Lots of those pork lard thingy, 'bak pok'. :)

Later that night, follow sis to her friend's photoshoot at Asiacity.

Then to a Bak Kut Teh shop near Gaya Street. Forgot what's the name but the ones with a lot of people. lol.

Taste okay,the soup is quite bitter, I'm not a big fan of bak kut teh anyway. I have no choice. lol

Overall, the bill came to be RM 77 for 3 bowl of soup and 6 rice (some of it takeaway.) plus drinks. Not the cheapest BKT I've had that's for sure. :D

The Best Coffee in Kuching @ Black Bean Coffee

Are you a coffee addict? Do you must have your daily morning dose of Joe's in order to be able to get through the rest of your day happily? You do?....*pout lips* Well, that's great, cause I'm about to introduce you one of the best coffee you can get in Kuching, it's a hidden gem among coffee addicts......

Okay, Imma stop that now, sorry if I cause you to get goosebumps. Sorry lah.

The name of the shop is Black Bean Coffee & Tea Company

It's just opposite of Life Cafe at Carpenter Street. So, if you're a tourist and you're staying near waterfront or in one of the many lodging near Carpenter Street, you must make your way over to this shop and get a cup of their coffee. You can only get this coffee in Sarawak. That makes it a must-do-in-Kuching. :)

Besides coffee and tea, they also sell some souvenirs and tit bits like cookies but that just the side thing, the main thing is coffee.

Liberica Coffee Bean

Full body, low acidity, smooth mellow flavor and exotic aroma.

Java Robusta Coffee Bean

Soft and mild flavor with strong aroma. Typically served black.

Both of these types of coffee are obtained from the lowland hilly areas of southwestern Sarawak. They are mainly planted in the Bidayuh villages and Chinese farms. Besides that the plantation for this types of coffee are small and the processing of the coffee beans is done naturally which means it's sun dried. Awesome!

Love the packaging.

The beans are roasted by direct fire in small quantities by their specialized roaster. It couldn't get more original than that. The coffee contains no preservatives, more more awesome! We all know preservatives is not good for us anyway.

Taste before you buy, does it means its FOC?? I wish.

Ok, let's check out their drinks, I don't remember the exact pricing for all of the drinks but all of the beverage cost around RM3 - RM 6. Much cheaper than Starbucks and better coffee too. Starbucks still made the best Green Tea Cream though. LOL

Pearl Milk Tea. Taste so-so, definitely not one of their 'star' beverage.

My favourite drinks there, Blended Iced Coffee with Condensed Milk. Taste super duper awesome.

Something about condensed milk and coffee that makes the coffee taste like home aka Kuching. Well, Vietnam has a coffee like that too but its much MUCH more stronger. I just love the colour when you stir a cup of hot 'kopi'. From black to white it changes to awesome coffee colour! It's beautiful....ok, ignore that. Lame. But seriously, it's beautiful.... :D

I love it. It's definitely the best coffee in Kuching. (messy hair, before rebonding.my life as a frizzy hair girl...sigh)

Freshly Sheared....Dog.

Last Saturday, after much thinking, I've decided to send my dog to get a fur-cut/groomed at Pet's Planet which used to be known as Amazing Pets at Rock Road.

Why send my dog to get a haircut you ask? Why not just do it myself?

Well, his fur is just to thick (just like his owner's hair) and the weather nowadays are just too hot. Besides that, I'm just too lazy to bath him. If you got a dog with thick fur/hair, you will know what I'm talking about. Plus, usually after the bath his hair would shed and stick everywhere in the house and not to mention it's really troublesome to clean it up. Bottomline, I'm just too lazy lah. My dog deserves a day of pampering anyway. :P

Surprisingly, the grooming will cost only RM 50. By grooming it means haircut, nail trimming and bath and drying. Not bad.

Introducing Joey.

I got him back in 2001 so he should be between 10-11 years old this year. Don't be fooled by his cute appearance, he's quite an aggresive dog, thankfully not to me (sometimes). And yes, I've cut his hair before but his hair grow way too fast it makes no different at all. He loves getting haircut for some reason, I have no idea why.

Pet's Planet did a good job, I love the result and it only took 2 hours for the grooming thingy. Very efficient indeed.

Simplicious Restaurant and Lounge @ Kuching

We all know that Kuching people always complain there's no place to eat right? Well, people had been noticing that and food business has been mushrooming all over Kuching in these couple of years. One of it is a fine dining restaurant called Simplicious Restaurant & Lounge. Went there with my sister and her friends for dinner a few weeks ago. 'Updated' no? I know, I agree. ;)

Here goes,

Pretty cool exterior of the restaurant, it's a house that has been converted into a restaurant, pretty easy to spot too, you won't miss it if you happen to be driving along the Banana Road. Jalan Pisang, I just wanna makes it sound....uh....forget about it.

Simplicious Restaurant & Lounge

Perfect place to enjoy coffee/beer/selfcam/deep thinking/daydream/sleep/looking at wall with water falling down from it. :D

The place where they makes drinks. Lots and lots of beer bottles.

If you're a beer lover, this is a good place to go to, apparently they serve lots of kinds of beer from imported beers from Germany, Japan, Belgium to our very own local beers. Too bad I don't know how to drink beer. Dang it. Oh and they serve wine, cocktails and for non-alcoholic drinks for people like me, mocktail. Sad.

Me with my American Black Coffee, RM 4.90. STRONG! coffee. Super 'kaw'.

Hot Chocolate, RM6 something if I'm not mistaken

Passion, RM7.50. Yup, its a passion fruit mocktail drink. Pretty tasty.

Honolulu Tango, RM 7.90. Pineapple mocktail, refreshing drink, there's even some bits of pineapple in it. rofl

Chocolate Ice Blended , RM8.90. Chocolate drinks..what can I say, you can never go wrong with chocolates. Scrumptious.

Pepperoni Pizza, RM 18. Its taste good, normal pizza taste I guess. Well, better than Pizza Hut I guess. Handmade is always best.

Grilled Lamb Shoulder with Black Pepper Sauce, RM 28. Comes with veggies and mash potatoes. The mash was delicious, love it. The meat, its tender but I don't like lamb so...well it's good if you like lamb :)

Chicken and Mushroom Fettucine with Cream Sauce, RM 20. This is what I had that night. Honestly I expect better, the sauce was watery and not creamy at all. I mean creamy sauce is suppose to be thick and creamy. I expect better for a pasta that cost RM20.

Pan Fried Chicken Thigh, RM 28. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the sauce was..let's just say I'm not a fan of the sauce. Not my taste I guess.

Pan fried Dory Fillet, RM 26. Pretty good, lots of cheese.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Chicken and Mushroom, RM 18. Now this I love, the pasta was cooked perfectly and it was just at the right level of spiciness. Awesome, much much better than the cream sauce pasta. More flavour too.

Last but not least, desserts. there's always room for dessert. :)

Cappucino Cheese Cake, RM 8. Cheesecake, need I say much? Cheesy awesomeness.

Simplicious Restaurant & Lounge is an okay restaurant for me. The food was good but the price are expensive for me. I'll come again just for the cakes. :)

My Happiest Moment

My happiest moment. Difficult things to choose from when you really think about it. There's lots of happy moment I gotta say, from simple things like hanging out with friends, family or even with my pets (no life :(..who cares, they make me smile!). Even eating or shopping or sleeping is a happy moment for me. If I've gotta choose and write my happiest moment, to date, in my 21 years of existence in this world, that moment's gotta be the period when I'd travelled to Canada.

One of the best news I've ever heard when my parents finally decided to send me and my sister to the land of Maple Syrup?, Canada after years and years of pleading. What, they are famous for maple syrup what. lol. So, about 3 months ago, Canada we went. And it was the best trip ever! (first time oversea ma, sakai-ness behaviour is bound to emerged)

Travelled almost a day by airplane. 3 hours flight to Hong Kong from Kuala Lumpur then 13 hours grueling flight from HK to Vancouver then another 2 hours flight from Vancouver to Calgary where my relatives stayed. Thank god for entertainment in flight, I'm one of those people who can't sleep. :S... I like to think it's my super power. Shhhh~~

Arrived!

Met my relatives from overseas for the first time. Nervous yet excited at the same time. That's the main purpose of this trip, getting to know relatives there, and boy, they sure are the most awesome relatives ever!

I miss her cooking, one of the happiest moment there was eat, eat, eat and eat and eat and yeah EAT. Her specialty is fills you up until you can't move from the sofa for half a day. Kung Fu I tell you.

Taken on the day we were to leave Canada. Opposite of my happiest moment. One of my saddest moment but its NOT my saddest moment. lol. It's more of a bittersweet situation that time.

Flight back to Kuching. Love this picture. I think it gives the feeling of bittersweet, for me atleast.

I was sad to leave Canada but at the same time I can go home, which is Kuching and see my parents again, so yeah sad and happy at the same time. Had a really great trip there and if I had the chance, I'll definitely go back there again, no doubt.

Moments will comes and goes but we can definitely preserved (sound like preserved vege but not the same type of preservation :S ) that moment by photography. Just snap and shoot and there you go, happy moments preserved. :)

Logos Hope MV @ Kuching

I finally went to Logos Hope MV yesterday. First a little bit of information about the ship. Logos Hope MV is the world's largest floating book fair and it is a replacement of the famous MV Doulos. That's it! lol

Welcome!

The admission price is RM 1 per adult and free for children below 12. They will give you a booklet containing the information about the ship, something like a map.

I went on a public holiday so yeah there's A LOT of people there that day. Thank god, it was a little breezy and there was tents for the people waiting in line. Next time never go unless it's weekdays. The line move pretty fast, we waited for like 20 minutes before we were able to get in.

When you're in there, they will ask you to listen to something before letting you in the book place. Honestly I didn't listen but it was something about the pricing of the book. 100 units = RM8 and so on and so forth. lol

The books there are pretty cheap, well some books are cheap. I didn't buy any, just buy some postcards and a keychain as souvenirs. Who knows when the ship gonna come again, snag it now! :)

Ice-cream. Took a bite out of it then I remembered to snap a pic.

Bought an ice cream which cost RM4...... :S. I'm sorry to say this but it doesn't taste like a RM4 ice cream should taste like. Overpriced, but oh well, once in a while. Think of it as donations for the new generators they have to get. :) I want honeydew ice cream, like the one they used to served in Doulos. :(

El Capitano. Poor guy, must be hot in there. And he walks around disturbing kids. I love it.

Sad cause I've to sit for what-I-thought-would-be-3 hours in the salon and a little bit sad to see my hair straighten. :(

Done it after 6 hours++ in the salon. Now my flat hair makes my face looks like an egg. geez.

Perfect Wedding Bridal Show 2011 @ The Hills, Kuching

Attended the Perfect Wedding Bridal Show last Friday which is on the 28th October. It was a 3 day event but I only went to the first day of the event.

The Hills' Perfect Wedding Bridal Show 2011 aims to give exposure for both wedding related businesses and for future newlyweds to meet these providers up close and personal to understand the choice they can include in celebrating one of the many big/special day in life.

Actually before the Bridal Showcase which is by Mick Long, there was the opening performance which is the Indian Dance and Poker Face (Lady Gaga) by Tadika Sang Kancil. I can just imagine how cute that was, can't believe I missed it, especially the Poker Face performance!! sheesh. :( Po-po-po-po-ker face, po-po-po-po-ker face~~

Then there's also a Kids Fashion Parade and after that it was the Bridal Showcase. I arrived just in time for the showcase. I guess you can guess it now why I missed all those performance, I...uh...had stomachache!......No, I was late like 30 minutes because of transport problem. Stomachache sounds better though. *touch wood*

So, I arrived, registered and......

...was given a Cupcake!

Don't know what's the flavour, I was just scoffing it down cause the show started already and I had to take pictures and I had no place to put the cupcake so the only solution was to put it in my stomach. Smart? I know right. :) There was crumbles all over my bags. fml. The cupcake was tasty, moist~~ Yums. :D

The showcase ends and there was a performance by Seventainment which is one of the best wedding band performance. They are able to personalize wedding sons based on the couple's preference(very important!!). If I'm getting married I only want to listen to the songs I love, we all want that, right eve-li-body?? :)

*coughs* Ehem, besides that, they also do medley and can even compose a song especially for the couple.

Goofin' Around With Webcam

Well, these pictures was taken a long long LONG time ago which was like 3 months ago.......yeah, that's a pretty long time.

Taken when I first got my new Asus netbook which explains our sakai-ness towards the webcam, it's not as if we haven't seen or used any webcam before. I don't know why, everytime somebody got a new laptop or netbook, they will always try out the webcam first, as if webcam from other laptop would have special functions that's so different from other webcam out there. Or maybe it's just us who did that. :S. nah, I'm pretty sure everyone does that, do you? Do you?? DO YOU?? Kidding.

Social Media and Society Seminar 2011 @ Grand Margherita Hotel, Kuching

Went to the 'Social Media and Society : Promoting Responsible Netizenship' seminar which was organized by the Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak (AZAM) and which was held at the Grand Margherita Hotel last Thursday.

Reached there at 8am, registered and was given a file which contain all the slides that was shown during the seminar and paper so you can make notes in it. (Didn't wrote down any note, yikes)

As you can see, there's no one sitting in front of me, cause I went there like an hour and half before the seminar started. Cause I'm cool that way~~ Just kidding.

After approximately an hour of waiting, the seminar kick off with the welcoming remarks by YB Datu Aloysius J.Dris who is the Chief Executive Officer of AZAM.

YB Datu Aloysius J. Dris talking about the generation gaps in technologies nowadays and something about sending signals with turtle shells back in the old days.

Okay, I gotta be honest, I didn't jot down any notes throughout the seminar cause I was busy listening.....yeah right. Actually the talks was pretty interesting but I can't remember any of them sadly. So.........picture time? Sounds good? Yay? Nay? :D (I didn't snap lots of pics too, soli. lol)

The room was actually filled out more than this, I took this picture about half hour after I arrived.

There are 3 speech given respectively by Dr.Danilo A.Arao, Professor Salleh Buang and Mr. Wan Abdillah Edruce. Dr. Danny speech was one of the most interesting cause he cracks a lot of jokes, one that I can remember is 'With great power, comes great...electricity bill. LOL.

Besides that, found a little surprise next day in the newspaper. LOL

My first time in newspaper!! I'm super 'sakai' wan. So YEAH!! LOL.

A Tribute To Jody

Was Skype-ing with my mom the other day and she told me a really really bad news that totally breaks my heart to pieces.

My dog Jody died on 5 August 2011 which is a Friday. Apparently she got bitten by a poisonous snake.

So, here's a post I dedicated to Jody.

I still remember the first time I saw you in SSPCA 3 years ago. You were the friendliest and the only dog that catches my eyes that time and I knew you would be the perfect dog for me.

I remember I went back to SSPCA three times in order to persuade my parents to let me adopt you. A puppy would be better they said but I don't care. And you proved to them that an adult dog is a good choice for adoption and can be trained and be good too.

I remember they called you the 'Cherry-Eyed dog' in SSPCA.

I remember the day I took you back to our orchard. Your eyes were glistening and you were really happy that somebody finally adopted you.

I remember your first car ride back to your new home and new family.

I remember your delighted and happy face in the car ride home

I remember your first taste of freedom as you run around and free from being caged all the time back in SSPCA.

Then you gave us 4 perfectly healthy and chubby puppies and trust us enough that you let us handled the puppies from the first day they were born.

I remember the way you tenderly and carefully take care of your puppies.

They are all grown up now thanks to you.

It's true what they say, you will only truly appreciate something once it's gone forever.... and there are a lot of things that I've regret and miss after you're gone.

I regret to have not pet you more when I'm at home.

I regret to have not visit you often.

I regret that I rather sit around watching TV or playing computer games than playing with you.

I regret not taking more pictures with you.

I miss your squeaky bark.

I miss the way you jump at me when I visit you.

I miss your cherry coloured eyes.

You are the dream dog that I've always wanted.

And I'm sorry to have not been there to protect you when you're hurt....

and not there to hold you when you took you last breath...

Flinders Station @ Kuching

So, I went to Flinders Station for lunch today. This would be the second time, the first time was for dinner. So let's talk about the dinner first. It was packed the day I went for dinner as it was only the second day it had opened that time. As a proud 'Kia-Su' people, when a new restaurant opened and it has an attractive name, the normal reaction for me and the rest of bored Kuchingnite was to go and check it out.

...and they served Real Aussie Food. *cough* What's the real aussie food anyway? Hmm.....

Inside (Second floor)

The interior of the restaurant are nice. Nice atmosphere, nice wall, nice lighting, nice seats. All and all, the restaurant was nicely decorated. Love the wall colour very much! :)

Now to the food

Mushroom Soup. Nothing special. Canned Soup.

Just a normal garlic bread. lol

Buffalo with No Wings.

Just a normal fried chicken. I would prefer buffalo with 'wings' aka Buffalo Wings as that would have atleast taste a little different from the normal fried chicken. If I'm not mistaken this is the specialty of the house?, but anyway I was expecting something special because of the name but sadly, it was just a normal fried chicken wings, so......yeah.

Forgot the name. lol

Taste like Buffalo with No Wings, just different part of the chicken. But got black pepper sauce so tastier.

On that night, the service was slow and the food was not that great either. But it's understandable as it was a newly opened restaurant and they are probably understaffed that time which would explain the slow service.

So I decided to go again for the second time and was hoping that the food would be better and the service would be better. I went there for lunch because I wanna try the pies which they only serve for lunch.

When you see a sign like that, automatically you would think that this restaurant is famous for its pie.

So, pie I ordered....

Chicken Pie.

....and boy was I disappointed. The pie was nice looking and all but when I cut it in half and taste a spoonful of the pie (the chicken part), it was ICE COLD. Have you ever eaten a spoonful of chicken meat, with juice and all and it's cold. Frikkin disgusting.

"Come here YOU.....It's COLD!!!!!" Felt like doing this that time but I might get beat up, so NO. I gotta stop watching Kitchen Nightmare. :S

The almost thawed pie.

The question that went through my mind at that time was 'WTF was the chef doing??', if a chef can't even heat a chicken pie using a microwave oven properly, imagine what he will do to the food that actually needs cooking. I was like never mind, honest mistake. I called the server, told them the pie was ice cold and they took it away. That time, I had cut the pie to 4 pieces, (sharing with my sis) and there was 2 pieces left on the original plate and 1 pieces each on our plate.

I thought that they would atleast had the courtesy to heat up a NEW chicken pie and give it to us. But, NO, they heat up the 2 pieces on the original plate and gave it back to us. Great, I'm starving and I've got 2 piece of HEAT UP-PED chicken pie for me and my sis to share. And you expect me to eat 1 piece cold and 1 piece hot chicken pie? What is this, ying and yang flavour is it? Best of both world?....?!?!!!....

*chill Lindy....inhale.....exhale....*

I just hope they would improve the food as well as the services.

Too oily but otherwise it taste good. Just don't know why they have to serve it like airplane food like that. If the food was made earlier and heat up upon ordering, don't make it too obvious atleast.

Been 'busy' watching drama these few days. That's why no I didn't update the blog..... Damn those addictive Singaporean drama! The drama that I'm talking about was a Singaporean drama called The Little Nyonya. Awesome drama!! If you haven't watch it, go watch it now!

So, basically this drama is about the life of nyonya...bla bla bla. Lazy wanna explain. But this drama is filled with scenes of the people eating Peranakan cuisine. Making me wanna fly right to Melaka and go get some of those, Babi Ponteh, Ayam Buah Keluak and the variaties of 'kueh' that they keep mentioning in this drama. Wait long long I'm going to Melaka anytime soon. But....

Turns out that there is a Nyonya restaurant in Kuching!! Awesomeness!

I absolutely loves the interior of this restaurant. Brightly coloured walls and the beautiful posters and the lanterns totally makes this place cosy. Love the posters too, classic.

Let's check out the food!

Drinks, right is 2 masam (2 sour mix) RM2.20 and left is Cold Lek Tao (Green Bean) RM2.20

These drinks are Chubby Baba's special drinks. Sour mix is basically a mixture of lemon juice and lime juice. Very refreshing and not sour at all, don't worry. :) While the Cold Lek Tao is basically green bean soup with ice. It's nice, taste like uh... chilled green bean soup. I'm not being helpful. lol

Rice.

I just love the way they serve rice in this kind of plate, very homey feeling. It's better than those typical orange, blue, green or red coloured plate. Boring *yawn*

Sambal. Awesome, nuff' said. :) You can just eat the rice with sambal, it's that good.

Angle beans stir fried with belacan and eggs. YUMMEH!!!

You can choose a varieties of veggies such as long beans, french beans, brinjal, spinach and many more. They are all prepared either stir fried with belacan or with garlic.

Babi Pongteh. ( Braised Pork with Bean Paste) RM12

Delicious!! Taste like succulent and fatty awesomeness!

Nyonya Deep Fried Cincalok Chicken. RM 7

Cincalok is fermented small shrimp. Kinda like belacan. But it's pink in colour, not brown or black like belacan. :) The chicken was marinated to perfection with cincalok and deep fried to crispy and heavenly awesomeness. Bottomline, if it's deep fried, me likey.

Nyonya Ngo Hiang. RM 7

Ngo Hiang is five spiced meat roll. Crispy on the outside with meaty filling. Yummy!

Sago with Gula Apong and Coconut Cream. RM 4

Last but not least, the dessert. It's good, creamy goodness. But I would have like it better if it was chilled.

Trippin' To Sibu Day 1 & 2

Sibu trip, what can I say. It's all good. We took a bus from Miri to Sibu just for the heck of it. Try to get some bus experience. LOL, Pshh, why take aeroplane when you can take the good old bus, cheaper somemore. It's like RM 45 for the bus ride. Dirt cheap!! Awesome bus ride you know???

Okay Okay!! I lied alright, always choose airplane over bus. Eventhough it's more expensive, airplane is definitely more worth it, saves time and won't get bored also. It was an 8 hour trip from Miri- Sibu. Approximately 7 hour and 15 minutes of sitting on your ass. Not fun. BORED. If you can sleep for 7 hours on a bus then it's okay, take bus. :) If not, AIRPLANE FTW.

We took the 8am bus from Miri Bus Terminal and reached Sibu at 4pm.

What to do when bored? Self cam! You can just see the boredom oozing out of our face.

First stop, Batu Niah

The bus stop by at 3 places, the first would be Batu Niah then Bintulu then Selangau. Nothing much to see, just important to stop to pee and eat and get some snack to munch on. Remember!! If you're planning for a bus trip, don't drink so much water, I learnt the lesson the hard way. NOT FUN. Just take a few sips now and then, don't worry, you won't die of dehydration. :) Oh yeah, music also important.

So, after 8 hours of ~~torture~~ awesome bus ride, with numb ass, we got down from the bus, greet my aunty and reached The Swan City, Sibu! What went through my mind that time was Kampua.... *drool* Kompia... * drool* :)~

We went to town for a stroll first,

The symbol of Sibu, the elegant swan. Makes me wonder, why Sibu has the Swan as it's symbol? Hmm.. I know why Kuching got cat as it's symbol la, obviously. lol

Around the swan, there is the statue of the animals of the chinese zodiac. Picture time!!

Horse is my chinese zodiac so horse I take picture with. Not just any horse,manly horse statue that has beautiful flowing hair.

Here's another swan, this one got colour one. LOL

I forgot what's this place called, but that is the Sibu Express Wharf Terminal and that's the Rajang River.

So, then my aunty brought us to eat the famous kompia in Sibu. Was pretty excited to eat kompia since the main reason I went to Sibu was to eat the Kompias. She brought us to a house-shop that sells kompia, apparently it was a very famous place to eat kompia and she would only sell 200 pieces of kompia per day.

Have no idea what's written, I admit I'm a banana. I don't have a banana la. Don't misunderstand. :)

As a good blogger, I go take picture to share share with you all the good food but instead I got scolded by the Ah Ma who's making the kompia. Everyone was like looking at me.Totally lose face. But I can take a few scolding cause I'm an adult!! *self console* I don't mind, she got the ight to scold me *self console again*

That grandpa like wanna kill me like that. Scary shit. I don't wanna get killed just for taking pics of kompia.

First of all, I wanna say I don't blame and not holding grudges on the granny for scolding me, it's okay, I guess she got sick and tired of people taking pics of her. Okay, now the food, I gotta say I don't like it at all. The kompia was like all mushy and the gravy was like a sweet bak kut teh soup. SO SO different from the kompia that I imagined, I liked the dry ones. I hate mushy food to begin with and bread soaked in soup is not an easy things for me to swallow, but I managed to force it down my throat cause my aunty paid for it. lol. It's just not my taste.

Then we go to Wong Nai Siong Garden.

Going to an open air place to eat is sometimes better than eating at a fancy restaurant.

Hands down the best thing we had that night, Mixed Fruit. An ice kacang like dessert with fruits such as watermelon, dragonfruit, honey dew, lychee and jelly and topped with strawberry puree.

Awesomeness!!! Very refreshing.

Great Burger @ Hijau, Kuching

Went to Great Burger the other night to get a uh...burger. The best place to go get a perfect, juicy and handmade burgers in Kuching is definitely at Great Burger. The burgers there are just awesome and the price is reasonable too. If you're planning to get a roadside burgers, might as well head here and get a real handmade western burger which is a rarity in Kuching..for a reasonable price anyway. :)

My sis ordered a glass of Pearl Milk Tea that cost RM4. Ridiculous. and its not even good. That's why I always bring my own bottled water there. LOL!! Water is good for health. :)

Sunshine Burger. Great indeed. Homemade patty served with egg, cheese,veggies and homemade sauce.

By the way, there's 3 different kinds of patties you can choose from,which is beef, chicken and if I'm not mistaken, lamb. Oh and fish too. I've always opt for chicken patties because well, I like chicken better than beef and lamb. lol And all the burgers will be served with tapioca chips, which is neat because I think it gives the burger a little bit character, which separates it from other burgers because usually burgers will be served with fries. Very Kuching-ish burgers. :)

Smokehouse Burger. My favourite so far out of all the burgers I've tasted. It just taste awesome. All the ingredients compliments each other well. :)

On 4th of July which was American's Independence Day, the Great Burger team came up with 2 limited edition burgers. I must try! Rain or shine!

The 3 Mini-Me Beef Burger. RM 8.50. Mini beef patties served with grilled onions,veggies and their homemade sauce. Yummy.

After I've taken a bite out of it. lol

The Monster-Me burger. RM8. Super cheesy and the beef patties was huge! 150grams if I'm not mistaken. It's awesome. Personally I think this was more worth it than the other ones. :)

The Master of Burgers Addiction (MBA) card

They have these MBA cards, where you have to taste all the burgers and get this card stamped for every different burgers you've tried. You have to complete the challenge in 2 months time from the date of first stamp. If you're successful, you earned yourself a free Smokehouse Burger. :)

I've only got 2 stamps so far. Sheesh.

Remember I said rain or shine? It rained heavily that night while we were eating the burgers and we got drenched that night. Great Burger. 'GREAT' Night.

Trippin' At Miri Day 3

So, third day at Miri, no plans, just go around Miri and see what's interesting. :D

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We went to Wisma Hopoh for our breakfast..can't believe Miri also have a place called Wisma Hopoh but their Wisma Hopoh is an eating place not a shopping place like the one in Kuching. Back to the food!!

Kueh Chap! Breakfast of champions. Not as tasty as Kuching Kueh Chap though, what to do, I'm a true Kuchingnite. :D

Curry Rice. Okay okay.

Uh...seow mai? I don't know..some kind of dim sum.

Oh wait, this is Seow Mai, then what's the thing previously...Hmm..guess? lol

Pandan Chicken. Marinated chicken wrapped in pandan leaves and then fried. Tasty!! The aroma of the pandan leaves are infused in the succulent chicken meat.

Shrimp Dumplings..its fried and there's shrimp inside. Served with mayonnaise as dipping sauce. Don't really like it. Nothing special. :)

Poor Louis Cha. Got sold for a cheap price of RM3.80 only. :( (I just had to put this in here. haha!)

The breakfast was quite expensive from what I'd remembered, especially the dim sums. After that we went to Canada Hill to have a little sightseeing. Canada Hill is a limestone ridge overlooking the town of Miri. Don't ask me why it's called Canada Hill, I have no idea. lol. Maybe it look like one of the hills in Canada, maybe its flown in, specially imported from Canada, maybe..ok I'm just talking crap.

The Grand Old Lady which is the Oil Well No. 1 is located on top of Canada Hill. It was here that oil was first struck by Sarawak Shell in 1910. See, I've done my research. *proud* :)

The entrance to the Petroleum Museum. Quite a lot of things to see inside, all oil related. History, technological development, etc.. 'FUN'.

Then we went to Taman Awam Miri. It is an awesome and HUGE family park!! There's children playground, botanical garden, jogging trails and not to mention the cool hanging bridge. I love this place, beats Kuching Friendship Park! Very nice place to take pictures too! The park is located 3km from City Centre.

We went to alot of places after that, such as Luak Bay Esplanade and other beaches around Miri, but we just drove by for some reason. They have beautiful beaches in Miri though and so near the town somemore. We also had a plan to go to Miri Marina to get a picture with the seahorse statue there, apparently it's the biggest seahorse statue they have at Miri but too bad, on the day we went, it's closed for renovation. FML. So no seahorse picture. FML. >:(

At night we went to a restaurant called Siamese Secrets. Nice place to get some western and Thai food. :)

Went to Bodycombat 48 relaunch today at Level Up Fitness Kuching. Super awesome and super fun but super tiring. Yes I'm trying to lose weight, no scratch that, I WANT to lose some weight and yes I'm burning more calories so I can gorge more later on without feeling guilty. :D

Trippin' To Brunei Day 2

Basically Day 2 at Miri, we had planned to go to Brunei for a day trip so Brunei we go! Miri is very near to Brunei, its about 1 and a half hour drive from Kuala Belait. Kuala Belait is a town located near the Brunei-Miri border. From Miri, we drove to Kuala Belait for a meet-up with my sister's friends at a japanese restaurant called Excapade there. All japanese food lover, THIS place is YOUR HEAVEN. Unfortunately I'm not a japanese food or more specifically, sushi lover. :( Pictures of sushi goodness below!

By the way, very confusing roads there, took us like 20 minutes to find this place, so next time just ask somebody there for the direction to this restaurant, save a lot of time. :)

And the smooth Macha Ice Cream with Red Bean Paste!!! Total YUMS!

We ordered alot more than what's shown above of course, but I stopped taking pictures after my food came. Cause I figured, 'Why take pictures of the sushi when I know I would not even remember the name after I exit this restaurant?' So yeah, that's why. :)

By the way the food portions here is HUGE. So don't order too much like what we did, totally can't finish it. The food portion there is atleast 2X if not 3X bigger than Sushi King. Excapade totally kick Sushi King's backside. (King my a**) Eventhough I don't like japanese food, I strongly recommend this restaurant for those who simple adores japanese food.

After that,we say goodbyes and head to Bandar Seri Begawan, the main city of Brunei. It's an approximately 1 and a half hour drive. Pretty excited as we sing, talk and laugh all the way there. Reach there and found out that the city was having some sort of royal thingy going on as there's a lot of police officers around the city and it's really REALLY difficult to find a parking place on the day we went there! Took us about 30-45 minutes just to find a parking spot. Oh yeah, everybody there is an expert in reverse parking as you can only reverse parking there I believe, well in the shopping malls parking space anyway.

The ice cream was good but it was too soft when the guy gave me the ice cream so it melts like everywhere. Probably cause I rushed him to gave me the ice cream. Probably. Lesson learned. Be patient.

I hardly saw any Malaysia made car there. How awesome is that? Everywhere you see, Mercedes, if not BMW, if not some other expensive cars that we can hardly see in Malaysia. I guess I'm just being 'sua pa lao'.

Boats ride. $2 per person. Its worth it, Try! They bring you around Kampung Ayer ( Water Village). Pretty awesome ride I must say.

The super friendly and awesome Pak Cik. Really glad we chose his boat. Next time you guys go Brunei, choose his boat. :)

If you are ever in Brunei, be sure to take the boat ride. Very fun and totally worth every single cent. It was like a 15- 20 minutes boat rides.

Unfortunately after that, we have to go back to Miri again. We were at Brunei for about 1 and a half hour only so basically and we have to go back before the immigration place closed which is at 10pm. A day trip is not enough to explore this city so if you guys are planning to go to Brunei, make sure stay a night there. Or go super early in the morning. lol. Kinda regret that we didn't stay a night there, I bet there's alot more stuff there to be seen but oh well, there's always next time. :)

But on the other hand, I wore the right T-Shirt that day, 'So Much To Do, So Little Time' was the wording on my shirt. :D............. I'm being lame again.

Then we went to Kent's Garden to eat. Kent's garden is kinda like a better version of Kuching's Hijau, BDC.

21st Birthday Celebration @ Big Oven

On 25th of June, which was 2 days ago, I've officially turned 21. Yes I can vote now. YES! So after we went to gym for an hour (to prepare for the massive nom-ing at night), me and my sis went to Tom's for a slice of cake. Managed to persuade my sis to 'cia' me. MUAHAHAHA! No wait...did she cia me? Sheesh I'm getting old. Anyway I ordered a piece of Cocoa Napoleon, and it's so frikkin scrumptious! Seriously worth every frikkin cent. A slice of this cake cost RM 12.95. :)

The night before my birthday, went out with my old primary school friend, Kay Suan and his little sis for a dinner at Delizze and had a pretty 'eventful' night. Let's just say it's embarassing but its still funny! Right Kay Suan?? XD

Back to Big Oven, pretty nice place. There is a big brick oven in there. They live up to their names. :P Love the tiles, very Italian like. By the way it's a non-halal restaurant and it's located just opposite of Tarot Cafe thats located at Jalan Kereta Api.

It's a pretty okay restaurant, the thing that annoyed me that night was for some reason the waiters keep on looking at us with a grumpy/weird look. I have no idea why but that totally makes my experience at the restaurant go down like 50%. It's a good service, but please, a little smile won't kill you. A grumpy look + your job as a waiter = Pissed Off Customer. *or maybe it's because I said the spaghetti is too salty. Yikes :S

Back to the celebration! Forget bout the grumpy waiters.(yes more than one grumpy waiter) :)

Trippin' To Miri Day 1

So, something new. I tag along with my sis and her friend, Vivian to Miri last month which is on the 27th of May for a trip since I had nothing better to do. Might as well check out Miri because I remembered the last time I had visited Miri was when I was still a snot-nosed kid. I gotta say, I'm not really that excited to go to Miri because some of my friends who's from Miri told me that there is nothing to do there. Yikes. But oh well, never try never know right? After all Miri is the second largest city in Sarawak, there must be something there that's worth seeing!

Took a flight to Miri which is an 1 hour flight. Nothing much, Air Asia. Self explanatory. :)

The airport looks a lot like Kuching airport but I gotta be honest Kuching airport is better by a teeny tiny bit. I'm a Kuchingnite, so of course I have to praise my hometown a lil bit ma. :) Typical things in the airport, Starbucks, souvenir shop, cafes, etc.

From the airport, my sister's friend Shelly, picked us up and drove us to Miri's best shopping mall, Bintang Megamall. It's quite an okay mall, nothing much to see really, but there's part of the mall that's under renovation now. So maybe in a couple of years I'll go back to see what has become of it. :P But one thing in the mall caught my eyes, which is the popsicles shop where you can put your name on the popsicles!! Okay I know it's lame, but its a thing that we don't have in Kuching.

So colourful! Me likey.

The cost of the popsicles is different depending on the flavours.

The popsicles taste okay, nothing to shout about. The only thing that's fun for me was the name on the popsicles . Makes you feel more special, like it's the only popsicles in the world for you I guess. Yes, I exaggerated. :)

Look like Police HQ? No it's a hotel. Mega Hotel. I wonder who's the guy who did the paint job.

After that, we went to Ming Cafe to eat and hangout. Apparently it is a popular spot for the locals to hangout and eat. Its kinda like half cafe and half bar. And that's it, nothing much to say. XD

Veggie Pratha if I'm not mistaken. Not bad.

That concludes Day 1 of the trip at Miri. I'm more active there on Day 2. Day 1, so lazy wanna walk around. So stay tuned for Day 2!

Thawing My Blog

Well, it's been a long, long, LONG time since I've update my blog. Why you ask? Well, that's cause I freeze my blog, to keep it from going bad or rotten. But I guess freezing it is useless since my blog is pretty rotten now, so I'm guessing its time for me to thawed it out. And that's what I did. :)

I'm meltinggggggg!!

Okay, sorry for the lame jokes previously. But yeah, I didn't blog for a long time because, well I like to say I'm busy with studies and stuff like that but that's only 40% of the whole percentage of why I'm didn't blog. 60% is because I'm lazy. Yeah i admit it, honesty is the best policy.

But now I've got my mood-to-blog back! Gonna do some changes to this blog :-

1. Gonna cancel out the whole Food Friday section, cause I found out that if I'm not blogging about food I have nothing to blog about basically. Yes, i like eating. :)

2. Change the layout of my blog. DONE!

3. Get a post out atleast 2-3 times a week!
